Effect of amino acid complex on physiological indicators of chicken blood

The reasonable use of complex amino acid supplements leads to improvement of general amino acid balance indices and a decrease of crude protein content in poultry diet. The aim of the study is to investigate physiological indices of chicken blood when using the amino acid complex “Ergamin” in the diet. Two groups of day-old cockerels of “Highsex-Brown” cross were formed. Birds of the control group received the basic diet balanced in all components. For chickens of the experimental group, the amino acid complex “Ergamin” was introduced to the basic diet in a dose of 10 g/l during the first ten days of life. On the third, fifth and seventh days, the hemoglobin concentration increased by 10%, 11% and 5%, respectively. The number of erythrocytes in the blood of the studied chickens of the experimental group is higher than the control values by 15%, 25%, 26% and 22% on the first, third, fifth and seventh days after stopping feeding the feed additive. No statistically significant differences were found between the absolute and relative content of various types of leukocytes in the blood of chickens of the experimental group, compared with the control values. In general, the analysis of hematological blood parameters indicates the absence of a negative effect of the studied feed additive on the physiological state of chickens compared with the intact control group. No depressing effect on the respiratory function of the blood was found. The studied white blood parameters characterize the absence of a negative effect of the studied amino acid complex on the state of the chickens’ immune system. The obtained values of leukocyte indices of endogenous intoxication, inflammation activity and nonspecific reactivity indicate the absence of a negative effect of the studied amino acid complex on the state of the chickens’ immune system. The use of the feed additive does not lead to the development of intoxication and the occurrence of inflammatory processes in the body of animals in the experimental group.
