The Impact of Corporate Culture in a University Structural Subdivision on University Effectiveness: Management Aspects

The relevance of the study is driven by increasing competition in the education ser-vices market, demographic challenges, and the growing importance of a university's reputation in attracting applicants. Objective: To develop management strategies for the development of corporate culture within a university structural subdivision to en-hance overall university effectiveness, based on an analysis of theoretical approaches and empirical data. Methods: The study has employed theoretical analysis methods (systematization and classification), a staff survey based on an adapted OCAI meth-odology (Cameron & Quinn), and analysis of the subdivision's performance results. Results: The dominant organizational culture of the university's structural subdivision has been identified. Key aspects of its influence on operational efficiency, reputational capital, and university competitive-ness have been determined and systematized. Practical recommendations have been developed for managing the development of corporate culture within the structural subdivision. Conclusions: The university structural subdivision requires targeted management of its corporate culture to improve performance. While the dominance of a clan culture shows significant potential, it should be supplemented with elements from other organiza-tional cultures types. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the specification of the research object – the corporate culture of a university structural subdivision – and in the development of targeted management strategies aimed at optimizing its perfor-mance and strengthening its contribution to the university's positive image.
