The influence of motivation on the choice of a strategy for overcoming cognitive barriers among foreign students

This article presents an analysis of the influence of different types of motivation (internal and external) on overcoming cognitive barriers that arise among international students in the process of studying at a university. The article focuses on the classification and meaningful characteristics of external and internal, broad and narrow motives of educational and cognitive activity, as well as their impact on overcoming emerging cognitive barriers.
