The influence of musical effect (Mozart effect) on the development of cognitive and emotional- sensory mental processes

The relevance of the theme of the music influence on the human psyche is proved. The novelty of the study is to consider the influence of the classical works of W.A. Mozart and rock music on attention concentration and memory ability, as well as on the skill of managing emotional state. The study includes a description of the analysis data carried out in two samples of subjects. The first sample is 13-15 years old teenagers, students of the gymnasium; the second is 22-25 years old adults. The results of the study are the comparative characteristics of the cognitive processes of the respondents before and after the musical impact. The authors evaluate the possibilities of using the Mozart effect in the fields of education and personal development. There is an improvement in the ability to concentrate and remember. The authors prove the effectiveness of the use of musical influence in educational institutions and any other organizations for the development of a harmonious personality, as well as in order to improve cognitive mental processes.
