The paper examines the prerequisites for innovative effects of the academic environment. These are changes in viewpoints, attitudes, motivations, and skills of teachers, managers, and students. The educational actors should adopt new goals and targets of professional learning activities, implement them on the basis of remote and distributed in space and time interactions. There should be access to the electronic resources of the environment and the resource management by information technologies. To create the proper environment influencing the intellectual capacity of the student’s personality, it is necessary to arrange the components that provide productive impact, identify indicative criteria and monitoring tools for the development process. Based on the requirements to the academic environment, the teacher is to affect the intellectual capacity of the student’s personality in order to develop it in full through computer graphics and related activity components. In this context, the role of engineering graphics courses as a part of the impact is growing significantly.
