The Influence of Psychological Characteristics of Students of Basic Higher Education in the Field of Training “Psychological and Pedagogical Education” on the Formation of Skills of Self-organization of Educational Activities

The relevance of developing self-organization of students’ educational activities in the context of the modern educational environment and labor market is substantiated. The goal of the empirical stage of the study is to identify the psychological characteristics of students that contribute to or hinder the formation and development of skills for self-organization of educational activities. The progress and results of this stage of the study are described: the defi nition of the concept of “self-organization”, key characteristics of an individual’s self-effi cacy are presented, a hypothesis is formulated about their pronounced infl uence on the indicators of his or her self-organization. According to the results of the study, it was found that persistence positively correlates with the level of self-organization, and behavioral rigidity has a negative eff ect on it. The results of the study emphasize the importance of including in the educational process activities aimed at developing not only planning skills, but also motivational and adaptive components of behavior.
