The aim of the work was to evaluate the effect of “Ent-Oil Idrorouge НM” feed additive on microbiota of the ceca of large intestine, productivity and chemical composition of breast and thigh muscles of broiler chickens. The studies were conducted on the basis of the scientific and production laboratory of poultry farming (Educational and Scientific Innovation Center “Agrotechnopark”) of Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education “Belgorod State Agrarian University named after V.Ya. Gorin”. Three groups were formed from day-old broiler chickens of Ross 308 cross: control (I-K) and experimental groups (II, III). Birds of all groups received the basic diet (BD), and in addition to BD, groups II and III were given “Ent-Oil Idrorouge НM” feed additive from days 5 to 38 and from days 22 to 29, respectively. The additive was preliminarily diluted in water at a dose of 0.50 g/l. The use of the additive contributed to an increase in survivability (in the control - 96.7%; II - 100%; III - 98.3%), a reliable increase in live weight by the time of slaughter on the 38th day (in the control - 2052.3 g; II - 2163.5 g; III - 2155.1 g). The additive insignificantly changed the quality indicators of the pectoral and femoral muscles. With prolonged feeding, the content of crude protein in the thigh muscles increased significantly and crude fat decreased. Short-term feeding did not affect the quality indicators of meat. Regardless of the duration of the use of additives, changes in the composition of the chyme of the caecum of the large intestine were established. In contrast to the control group, the following was shown: absence of Proteus spp and hemolytic E.coli; lower values of Staphylococcus epidermidis, Enterococcus spp., lactose-positive E.coli and high lactic acid bacteria Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium. Long-term feeding of “Ent-Oil Idrorouge НM” additive "showed a slight advantage over short-term feeding in the direction of increased survivability, a reliable increase in the intestine of Lactobacillus spp. and crude protein in the thigh muscles.
