Introduction of storitelling technology as means of development of key competencies at students of pedagogical college

An ancient Native American proverb says: “He who tells the story rules the world.” Our brain becomes more active, when we share events. Therefore, stories and tales with a plot narrative in which some kind of value is conveyed are remembered better than individual facts. The pedagogical technology “storytelling” (from the English storytelling) is a variant of non-formal learning. The article will be of interest to teachers, students of teacher training colleges, specialists working with people with disabilities, all who are aware of the need to optimize the educational process.
