Water of the Crimean tourist infrastructure: problems and innovative solutions

Tourism has been identified as a promising economic specialization for the Crimean Federal District. Crimea is a territory with a huge potential for the development, promotion and creation of new high-quality competitive tourist products on the domestic and international markets. However, the global problem of the tourist infrastructure of this territory is the lack of water resources. The article shows the problems of water supply of the Crimean Peninsula at the present stage of tourism development. The analysis of innovative mechanisms, technologies, and measures to stabilize the peninsula's water supply is carried out. Priority innovative technologies of seawater desalination are considered.
