Volunteering as a «soft power»: pedagogical training of volunteers

The author of the article is based on the fact that volunteering is a means of “soft power”, since it has the function of socio cultural, political and economic influence and control as a tool for joint activities of various social strata of the state population. It is based on the attractiveness and voluntary participation of members in volunteer activities. The article emphasizes that for the effective activities of the institution of volunteering, pedagogical training is necessary, which is part of the pedagogy of volunteering. This is an academic discipline for students of higher educational institutions, which has a certain logic and structure. It is also a separate developing branch of scientific knowledge thanks to scientific research in the field of socio cultural activities. At the same time, pedagogical training of volunteers is an integral part of a successful volunteer movement.
