Issues of functioning of the Buryat language in the modern youth environment (to the problem statement)

The article discusses the main factors that influence the functioning of the Buryat language in the modern youth environment in the Republic of Buryatia. Recently, the issues of preservation and development of the Buryat language have become particularly relevant in connection with the cultural, educational, social and political processes in our republic. A special role in the vitalization of the language is played by young people, both as the most active social group and as the successor of ethnic traditions. In the second case, the issue of the use and development of the language is strategically important, since the narrowing of the areas of language use immediately affects the general language situation. This article is a continuation of a research on the study, status, problems, factors of preservation and development of the Buryat language in the territories of Buryat settlement.
