В XX - начале XXI в. все большее значение в международных отношениях, наряду с военными и политическими факторами, приобрела экономическая составляющая. Главным инструментом в этой системе координат является политика региональной интеграции с выделением центра. Такая политика нацелена на продвижение национальных интересов и обеспечения национальной безопасности путем финансово-экономического доминирования в регионе и мире в целом. Таким образом, учитывая все условия динамики развития трансатлантического региона, центральные позиции в интеграционных процессах заняли США и Великобритания. Показательно, что эти страны активно применяли весь инструментарий интеграции в ходе реализации своих инициатив в 1997-2008 гг., поскольку именно данный период в мировой политике стал индикативным рубежом как в военном, так и в экономическом отношении.

Issues of economic cooperation in the context of Anglo-American relations in 1998-2008
In the XX century -the beginning of the XXI century an economic component, along with military and political factors, assumed ever greater importance in the international relations. The main tool in this system of coordinates is the policy of regional integration with its centre allocation. Such policy is aimed at advancing national interests and promoting national security by means of financial and economic domination in the region and in the world as a whole. Thus, considering all conditions of dynamic development of transatlantic region, the USA and the UK are on the central positions in integration processes. It is significant these countries actively applied all tools of integration during realization of their initiatives in 1997-2008, as the given period in the worldwide policy became an indicative boundary both in military and economic respect.
