The issues of the conservation of the cultural heritage in the process of the professional training of the architects

The article deals with the issues of the conservation of the cultural heritage in the process of the professional training of the architects. There are revealed and enumerated the issues that do not allow to realize the depth of the comprehension of the values of the cultural heritage. There is given the example of the method “case-based learning” - the annual educational competitive programme “ARCH-IDEA” on the basis of Ural State University of Architecture and Art.
