The article examines the concept of ascending evolution in the context of the philosophy of Russian cosmism (V. I. Vernadsky, A. L. Chizhevsky, A. K. Gorsky) as a culturalphilosophical principle that can serve as a methodological foundation for a convergent paradigm of cultural studies. The research aims to identify the theoretical and methodological potential of the category of ascending evolution for analyzing processes of cultural evolution and for integrating the humanities and natural sciences. Drawing on the ideas and concepts of Russian cosmism, the author interprets ascending evolution as a directed process linking the biosphere, technosphere, and noosphere into a unified system in which collective intelligence and cognitive technologies become the driving forces of cultural development. The author demonstrates that the philosophy of Russian cosmism contains a macroevolutionary model in which culture and consciousness constitute stages of an ascending movement from the biosphere to the noosphere, from individual to collective mind. This approach makes it possible to interpret the technosphere and cognitive technologies as functional mechanisms of ascending evolution that contribute to the formation of a new ethics of technoanthropogenesis. The results of the study reveal the potential for integrating humanitarian and naturalscientific approaches, defining anthropocosmism as a methodological principle of cultural reflection on the evolution of consciousness and culture in the era of digital transformation and global biospheric change.
