The article is devoted to the problem of a gymnasium student language personality development through extracurricular activities. The author covers the content of a «language person» concept, its characteristics and structure, shows the connection between this question and the language competence. The basis of this scientific-practical work is the actual culturological approach. The advantage of the article is the description of the applied original model of organization of extracurricular work using Internet technologies.
