Fostering Patriotism in Younger Students through Learning Mathematics

The article shows the organization of patriotic education for the younger generation, which has gained particular relevance in contemporary conditions due to the increas-ing significance of patriotism as a national idea for the state, society, and each individual. The study focuses on fostering patriotism among younger students through learning mathematics. The authors consider patriotism as a personal quality of learn-ers, revealing the essence of the concept and its structural components. The article presents the results of an empirical study demonstrating the effectiveness of the proposed approaches to nurturing patriotism in elementary school students. Additionally, it describes an instruc-tional framework that integrates mathematical tasks designed to promote patriotism among primary school students.
