The article deals with the issue of the spiritual and moral element of the economic component of the school course of Social Science. There is analyzed the correlation of the aims, content, methods and means of teaching Social Science, supporting the actualization of the spiritual and moral foundations in the process of the development of the economic culture of the schoolchildren. The author shows the influence of the successful work in this direction on the development of the sociocultural identity of the schoolchildren.
