Opportunities of children’s additional education in development of self-determination of adolescents and young adults

The article studies and systematizes the practical aspects of the additional education as a potential space for self-determination of a child. The author considers how the particularities of teenagers' and young adults' self-determination are changing, defines the approaches to description of self-determination process, its forms, elements and mechanisms. The paper analyses the essence of key technologies, which are used in the process of the children’s additional education and which are strictly focused on the problem of development of the teenagers' self-determination ability.
