Possibilities of the perfusion computer tomography in differential diagnostics of the continued growth and post-radiation necrosis of cerebral glioblastoma

The analysis of results of perfusion computer tomography (PCT) and magnetic resonance tomography (MRT) at 40 patients with glioblastoma after operation and radiation therapy in dose of 60 grey is carried out. Data of MRT didn't allow to differentiate recurrence of tumor and post-radiation necrosis at 72,5% of patients. Recurrent tumors showed higher CBV, CBF values and low MTT in comparison with radiation necrosis. Sensitivity of the PCT parameters concerning the continued growth of tumor ranged from 0,818 to 0,909.
