Possibilities for preventing degradation of soils in steppe zone of the Volgograd region

On the basis of the cadastre estimation of soils in the Volgograd Region the analysis of negative changes in their conditions has been made. Creation of soils genetic fund which will allow preserving soils resources is offered. The author also offers to indicate valuable soils on the index on soils productiveness. Determination of soil productiveness should be calculated on the basis of growth class number in comparison with its average district index.
