Possibilities of implementing the pedagogical technology “cooperative learning” in the process of teaching the academic discipline “Foreign language”

The article examines the pedagogical technology “cooperative learning” and the development of possible ways of its implementation in the teaching of the academic discipline “Foreign Language” in educational organizations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. The aim of the article is to demonstrate the advantages of using the technology of “cooperative learning”, namely: solving a set of practical problems in the classroom in the academic discipline “Foreign Language”, maximizing the proximity of tasks to the conditions and requirements of professional activity, as well as creative and stimulating approaches to improving the professional foreign language communicative competence of cadets. The technology proposed for use is considered in terms of its concept, goals and content of each stage of its implementation, their sequence, as well as a variety of methods and techniques, such as situational analysis, mental mapping, fishbone technique, parallel and alternative learning. The main conditions for the successful implementation of the technology in question in the educational process are the profiling of the material, practical orientation, emphasis on the communicative activities of students, the preparation of factual and linguistic supports for the communicative practice of cadets.
