Possibilities of semantic methods in eco-psychological research

The article is devoted to the analysis of ecopsychological research related to the use of semantic methods. The purpose of the article is to highlight the arears of using various pedagogical methods by researchers to obtain psychologically relevant information. Attention is focused on the possibilities of using semantic methodological tools in order to determine the meanings that are significant for the subject in assessing the spatial environment of everyday life. The lack of knowledge of the semantic aspects of the perception of the spatial environment of everyday life is emphasized. The prospect of a differentiated analysis of denotative and connotative meanings as elements of the evaluation system of the spatial environment of everyday life to obtain psychologically relevant data about its resources for the subject is outlined. It was noted that the results of ecopsychological research using semantic methods can be in demand in the practical activities of specialists in organizing the living environment: architects, designers, psychologists.
