The age peculiarities of memory and their impact on the successful learning

The article deals with the specifics and peculiarities of visual and auditory-verbal types of memory in different age groups (school and university students). It has been found that females under consideration have better developed auditory-verbal memory. The group of 911 years old students has the highest rate of memory, which is associated with the efficiency of modern school education process. The author believes that the success of students' learning depends mainly on their visual memory, which confirms the necessity and effectiveness of the interactive information technologies application in the educational process.
