In the situation when one has to make a choice the identity is properly linked with the evaluation of the current situation based on a person's moral convictions. The study demonstrates how it works when analysing the problem situations of the present day: attitude to theft, possibilities to observe ethical rules by a psychiatrist. Statistics reliably show that students accept traditional ideas about gender roles where masculinity predominates among young people and femininity among ladies. With time students may reduce the level of group identity and level of moral convictions as well whereas masculinity may increase. Masculine orientation and recognition of possibility of changes may be considered a positive tendency in forming proactive attitude to life, understanding of one's potential.
