I dentifi cation of the Necessary Personal and Professional Qualities of Cadets of Educational Institutions of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia and Methods for Assessing their Development

The purpose of the article is to describe a set of methods for studying the personal and professional qualities of cadets of educational institutions of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia. The necessary personal and professional qualities of the study contingent are identifi ed: ability to self-control, volitional potential, achievement motivation, stress resistance, risk readiness, anticipatory competence. The methods and techniques for studying these qualities are considered. The importance and relevance of their high-quality psychological diagnostics are substantiated. A set of diagnostic methods is defi ned that allow for a comprehensive analysis of the personal and professional qualities of cadets.
