To withstand and to teach: the activity of schools of the Stalingrad region during the battle of Stalingrad

On the basis of the complex of archive materials and studies the process of schools’ functioning in the Stalingrad region in 1942-1943 is analyzed. The aspects of schools’ work in the front conditions and the beginning of the reconstruction of school system after the liberation of Stalingrad in February 1943 are considered.
