The results of the last two years research of the team of the researches of Gercen RSPU are given, which concerns the revelation of teachers ideas about the interconnection of traditions and innovations in the contents of general education, which particularly allow to answer the question about what traditions are necessary to save and which innovation in the contents of education will be supported by the teachers.
