18th century: a text, written by a woman: (on introducing female literature into school and university curriculums)

The article which is devoted to such a unique Russian cultural phenomenon as female literature considers the problem of its importance for modern education in the sphere of the Humanities. Study of this stratum of belles-lettres contributes to a more complete picture of the society historical evolution which leads to the rise of the general cultural level, producess a positive effect on harmonious personality development. The 18th century female literature is analyzed as reflecting social and cultural peculiarities of female mentality of the period.
