Legislative measures to increase the popularity of domestic tourism

The article discusses the issues of modernizing Russian legislation regulating domestic tourism and related issues. Noted. The modern legislative body does not take into account many new types of tourism, which does not allow effectively regulating legal relations that arise in new types of tourism activities. The species diversity of modern tourism requires adequate legal regulation that takes into account the characteristics of specific goals, objectives and types of tourism. It is noted that one of the few areas of domestic tourism that is really in the focus of attention of legislators and officials is rural tourism. At the same time, virtual tourism, as a rule, is on the periphery of the attention of authorities, travel agents, tour operators and tourists themselves. This type of tourism is also not designated in the legislative body. Polar tourism is also of particular importance for the development of domestic tourism, for which a regulatory framework has also not been developed.
