The problem of the formation of military-professional motivation of cadets at the present stage of development of society is becoming one of the most important for the universities of the Russian National Guard. The purpose of the article is a theoretical analysis and substantiation of the regularities of the pedagogical concept of the formation of military professional motivation for cadets of universities of the Russian National Guard. Within the framework of this article, the core of the developed pedagogical concept will be revealed, which is formed by the patterns of formation of military-professional motivation of cadets of universities of the Russian National Guard. The study revealed patterns of conditionality, attribution and effectiveness of the pedagogical concept for the formation of military professional motivation for cadets of universities of the Russian National Guard. Patterns of conditionality: 1) the phenomenon of military-professional motivation of cadets of universities of the Russian National Guard is due to the availability of opportunities to achieve a high social status and career prospects; 2) the formation of military professional motivation of cadets of the Russian National Guard is ensured by integration into the military professional community and the assimilation of a system of moral and professional values, attitudes and norms. Attributive regularity: 1) the development of their patriotic values and moral and ethical norms contributes to the formation of military-professional motivation of cadets of universities of the Russian National Guard. Pattern of efficiency: 1) the effectiveness of the formation of military professional motivation for cadets of higher education institutions of the Russian National Guard is ensured by expanding the opportunities for their participation in research activities. The revealed regularities reflect the basic properties of the developed concept, reveal the factors influencing its functioning, and make it possible to reveal the relationship between theoretical and practical work in the formation of military-professional motivation for cadets of universities of the Russian National Guard.
