Foreign experience of privatization in the aviation industry

The article examines international experience in the privatization of airports and airlines as one of the key areas of reforming the aviation sector in various countries. It analyzes the main privatization models used in international practice, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of privatization in the aviation industry. Based on a study of international practices in the privatization of aviation assets, the article demonstrates that the effectiveness of privatization is determined by a number of factors, including the model of ownership and management transfer, the level of retained state participation, the stability of demand for aviation services, and others.
