Protection of the rights of Russian citizens abroad

The presented study contains an examination of issues related to the peculiarities of the current state of the institute for the protection of the rights of Russian citizens abroad. The article analyzes: the regulatory framework of the state's obligation to ensure guarantees for the protection of the rights of Russians outside the Russian Federation; current problems of international cooperation in the designated area. Special emphasis is placed on the issue of protecting the rights of Russians in the context of European Union sanctions imposed in 2022-2023.
