Grain haylage in the feeding black-and-white cattle heifers

The article presents the results of a study on the use of grain haylage in the diets of replacement heifers. In the control group of heifers, instead of corn silage, the ration has included vetch and barley grain silage in the amount of 3.6 kg per 1 head per day. In the experimental groups of young cattle have been studied body weight gain (average daily, absolute, relative), and also the economic efficiency of using grain haylage in heifers’ diets have been determined.
