The article systematizes information about the influence of the Life of Alexander of Svir on the writings of later Russian hagiographers, established by the authors of special historical and philological researches published over a century and a half. The purpose of the work is to switch the question of the influence of one literary monument on others from traditional philological to historical-ecclesiastical and historical-cultural aspect. When studying the veneration of saints, borrowings from literary and hymnographic works, as a rule, are not taken into account. Meanwhile, many lives of saints have direct or indirect indications of their origin from a particular book center and, along with the construction of churches and writing of icons, can indicate the veneration of a saint in this center - not only the saint to whom the work is dedicated, but also the saint whose life served as a model or a source of borrowings. The objectives of the study were both to collect and verify the already identified borrowings from the Life of Alexander of Svir in the Russian hagiographical works, and to identify new ones. As a result of the study, eleven 16th-17th century monuments have been identified, written directly under the influence of the Life of Alexander of Svir, and one 18th century monument, which experienced its influence indirectly.
