Resilience and coping behaviour in senile age: gender aspect

The article presents the comparative research of features of resilience and coping behaviour in men and women of senile age (70 men and 70 women aged 6575). The features of defense mechanisms of personality in senile age and coping strategies have different manifestations in the individual adaptation of men and women to the social environment. It has been found that the women of senile age have higher overall level of resilience than the men.
