The potential of complementarity of the civilization paradigm in the context of political multi-paradigm studies of contemporary Russian reality

The article discusses the new possible theoretical approaches to the study of the contemporary Russian reality, not opposing civilization paradigm, but rather supplementing it in the aspect of their conformity with the dynamic changes in the modern world. These are the theories of risk and security. According to the author, at the present stage of social development it is necessary to create the civilization paradigm that would minimize the modern risks and increase the safety of co-existence of countries with different political structures.
