The meaning of phraseology in the teaching methods of Russian as a foreign language

Linguistic and didactic possibilities of Russian phraseology in the teaching the Russian language as a foreign is described in the article. According to results of the practical teaching experience, foreign students do not acquire enough skills how to use Russian idioms in speech. However, idioms are not only cultural and informative resource about country but also include rich linguistic material. It is allow to study different aspects of Russian morphology, syntaxes, phonetics, lexis. It is proved in the article, the inclusion of the phraseology course in Russian language teaching program on preparatory faculties is provide overall learning language and culture. It is increase and enlarges foreign students’ Russian language skills. The main difficulties of study the Russian language idioms are described in the research. The basic principles of teaching system are minimization of study material and gradual process of Russian idioms teaching with the consideration of native language influence.
