Importance of intraoperative sonography with fluorescence-guiding for surgical treatment of primary brain tumors

Research objective. To estimate radicalism of operations and quality of life in patients with primary brain tumors, operated with use of intraoperative sonography - alone or in combination with fluorescene-guiding. Materials and methods. To estimate the dependence of brain’s gliomas resection results from intraoperative sononavigation and fluorescence-guided resection, comparison of complex investigation’s data inthree groups of patients is carried: 36 were operated with ultrasound navigation (I group), in 47 neurosonography was combined with fluorescence-guided resection (II group), 60 patients had been operated previously without use of intraoperative navigation (III, historical control group).
