Importance of scientific and project activities in the competency development of students of the history faculty

The article examines the importance of research and design activities in preparing students within the framework of a competency-based approach. The role of potential employers and professional standards in the quality of graduate training and meeting the needs of the labor market is outlined using the example of students from the Faculty of History. The results of a research project in the discipline “Religious Studies” are presented and possible prospects for its application are described.
