The importance of A. V. Chajanov theory of peasant economy for the development of Russian science

The analysis of criticism on scientific and theoretical literature by A.V. Chajanov is presented in the article. The formation of organizational-industrial school and strengthening of Markxist agrarian school of thought, gradual exclusion of the opposite ideologies and struggle against dissident views brought rigid criticism on the agrarian-industrial sphere. Disputes around A.V. Chajanov’s doctrine occur mainly because of the distortions of his ideas and discrepancy of citations. It’s necessary to examine A.V. Chajanov’s theoretical views as a whole, in the aggregate of all his works, as it should be done with the heritage of any scientist.
