The article deals with the adaptation of schoolchildren to educational and vocational activities in medical universities in the context of the vocational self-determination. There is substantiated the concept that the early purposeful and consistent senior school pupils’ inclusion in educational and professional activities supports their successful adaptation, the development of their professional competence and the speedy and conscious choice of future profession.
