Axiomatic method in teaching mathematics and the education of future teachers of mathematics

The article deals with one aspect of the methodological problem of the role of logic in teaching Mathematics. The article analyzes to what extent the use of the axiomatic method affects three teaching factors: the logical rigor of the presentation of Mathematics, the development of the logical thinking of students and developing teaching Mathematics. It is emphasized that the methodological problem of using the axiomatic method in teaching Mathematics does not have an unambiguous and final solution. The teacher will have to solve it in each specific pedagogical case.
