The article deals with the issue of the revealing of the specific character of the hybrid foreign language teaching in the works of the French-speaking scientists. There are analyzed the characteristics of the type of teaching, its basic components, the ways of their union and the conditions of the successful functioning of the hybrid learning in the process of foreign language teaching.
