The transit from the education of EFL to EIL, conditioned by the glocalization of the English language, is at the stage of the active linguodidactic comprehension nowadays. There is presented the comparative analysis of the textbooks of the English language as an international one by the authors of the internal and expanding circles from the position of the transcultural approach. There are considered their essential characteristics: target setting, contents and principles of education.
