Crisis management of organizations in the context of digital economic transformation

Free access

Digital transformation is one of the key trends in modern economic development, undoubtedly impacting organizational management. The study found that the digital transformation of the economy creates qualitatively new factors for crisis development, driven not only by external shocks but also by the internal technological lag of organizations, their inability to adapt to disruptive innovations, and institutional shifts. It is shown that classical crisis management tools are losing their effectiveness in a digital environment dominated by intangible assets and network business models. The key areas for transforming crisis management approaches in this new environment are identified: the implementation of early warning systems based on big data and artificial intelligence; the transition from reactive measures to proactive digital adaptation; the development of a digital culture as an element of crisis resilience; and the improvement of legal and institutional support for the digitalization of crisis management.
