The idea of the necessity of constant understanding of the man’s essence in the organization of pedagogical activity is advanced. The anthropological approach is one of the key directions in modern Pedagogy. The analysis of the conditions for building a “human-proportioned” educational process is proposed. There is underlined the contradiction of the man’s image, the dependence of the concepts of it from the historical events and the authors’ points of views.
