This article examines the impact of robotic systems on the reduction of production costs in mass production conditions. It explores the transformation of the cost structure of products under the influence of automation, including changes in the share of labor costs, reduction of losses due to defects, equipment downtime, and logistical inefficiency. The potential for integrating industrial robots, automated lines, and cyber-physical systems is analyzed in the context of lean manufacturing, just-in-time, and computer-integrated manufacturing concepts. Special attention is given to methods for assessing the economic efficiency of robotization, including the calculation of net present value, internal rate of return, as well as the analysis of the impact on product quality and labor safety.
