The data base in the linguistics and linguistic education: the modern state and potential of its usage in the process of the foreign language teaching

The article deals with the review of the current native and foreign scientific papers, devoted to the data base in the linguistics and the linguistic education. There are identified the basic areas of the study and the types of the data base. The authors reveal the advantages of their usage in the process of the foreign language teaching, in particular for the development of the collocation competence of the students. There is presented the project of the dictionary and language base data on the basis of the corpus study.
