This article describes the formation of ancient hydraulic structures under the influence of the climate and inland waters of Samarkand region. In addition, the role of natural geographical conditions of Samarkand region in the formation of ancient hydraulic structures, the types of ancient hydraulic structures in the region and their importance are explained.
