This article defines the principles of the organization of extracurricular work in a foreign language, the influence of extracurricular activities on the expansion of students' cultural views, the development of their creative activity, aesthetic tastes is noted. The purpose of the study is to generalize and systematize the theoretical and practical experience of extracurricular work in a foreign language in secondary schools.
